Why are my students' passages locked?

Students cannot move on to the next passage until you have scored their hot reading and clicked "update record."

If you begin to score a student's hot reading, but you some reason (e.g., they haven't met their goal) you would like them to try again, do not click "update record" as this will move them to the next passage.
